Turtle Creek Mall Renovation Details Announced
Renderings unveiled as shopping center begins major enhancement project

CBL & Associates Properties, Inc., the owner and manager of Turtle Creek Mall, announced today the details of its multi-million dollar renovation for the mall in 2012. CBL continually reinvests in its portfolio of dominant regional malls, enhancing their appeal to both retailers and shoppers.

“This renovation is an exciting opportunity for CBL to continue its investment in south Mississippi” said Bryan LeBlanc, mall general manager. “With the help of this project, the mall can continue to provide the dominant retail experience in this community for many years to come.”

This morning at a media event hosted by the mall, LeBlanc unveiled architectural renderings that showcased the new look and feel for the shopping center. Upgrades announced include:

Soft Seating areas throughout the shopping center

Updated interior landscaping

Upgraded, energy-efficient lighting

Remodel of the mall floors

New Food Court layout, furnishings and seating plan

Fresh paint throughout the mall common areas

“This will be a comprehensive package of improvements,” LeBlanc said, “The mall will have an updated and contemporary look that shoppers will appreciate and enjoy.”

All of the enhancements are expected to be finished in November, with a “Grand Celebration” event being planned for shoppers to mark the completion of the project. LeBlanc said updates on the renovation and celebration will be made periodically on TurtleCreekMall.com, Facebook and Twitter.
